Editorial Policy

This policy describes what we publish, what we refuse to publish, and what happens when we do not have the data to answer a question.

Source of truth

Every platform fact on this site lives in a structured database with a per-field verification record. Prices, payment methods, availability and features are entered after first-party verification. Software does not invent values.

Null over guess

If we have not confirmed something, the field is empty and the interface shows “Not confirmed”. We never render an unverified value as a feature, a price or an availability claim.

Artificial intelligence

• AI may assist with structuring text, drafting explanations and localising content.
• AI may not generate or estimate prices, features, availability, legal claims, scores or user reviews.
• Every number in a review is rendered from the database, not from generated prose.
• Localised pages are reviewed before publication and marked as reviewed in our translation records.

Scores

The BCI Score is produced by a deterministic, versioned model. The same inputs always produce the same output. The methodology is public, and a score is withheld entirely when too much of the underlying data is missing.

Freshness

Critical fields — pricing, availability, payment methods and affiliate destinations — are re-verified on a schedule. When a field passes its freshness window it is flagged in our admin as stale. We do not update a page's modification date unless its content actually changed.

Corrections

If you find an error, contact us with the platform and the field. Verified corrections are applied to the database and re-scored immediately.
